"Alaskan Bush People" fans had been following the updates about Ami Brown's health ever since she was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. The family had been silent for months about the condition of Ami, but recently, fans are pleased to get an update from her youngest daughter Rain.
The 14-year-old is active on social media and has been sharing photos on Instagram. Many fans are getting updates about the family from her account while "Alaskan Bush People" season 8 is not yet released. Some even praise the mature ideas and beliefs of the youngest Brown sibling.
Another chemotherapy for Ami Brown
Aside from talking about her depression and other things that concern her, she also gave an update on her mother. Rain revealed that Ami is currently undergoing chemotherapy once again.
Rain posted a photo of some essential oils and two cups of tea on Instagram. Along with the image is a caption that says she spent all morning with her mother, making their favorite peach tea and their own mix of essential oils. She even mentioned that they mixed frankincense, eucalyptus, pink grapefruit, and spearmint with coconut oil. They also added some shimmer into it.
The post continued saying that Ami is going through her second round of chemo. Although she cannot reveal her mom's condition yet, she said that everyone should be hopeful and faithful.
She also thanked her followers for the support and love during the difficult times they are facing. Hopefully, the cup of tea and the essential oils will help Ami feel better.
Ami's health crisis
"Alaskan Bush People" star Ami is already done with her chemotherapy. She received treatment from the UCLA Medical Center in California.
With that, the family stayed in a Beverly Hills mansion which is only a few minutes from the hospital.
Since chemotherapy is taking its toll on Ami's health, she needed more rest in order to help her body recover. But it appears that her treatment isn't over yet since she needs another round of chemotherapy. Based on the post of Rain, the Brown matriarch is also turning to natural remedies aside from modern medicine, in order to combat cancer.
To recall, Ami was told by her doctors that she only has 3% chance of survival. But despite that, she remains positive and strong. She said that she has faith in God and she has the will to fight even if she feels like it will be her last days. She also aims to inspire other people who are facing a health crisis.
