Kristen Stewart is one of the possible cast members for the Movie Remake of “Charlie’s Angels,” Entertainment Weekly reported. This award-winning actress previously portrayed Bella Swann in the hit movie “Twilight.”

If she is cast for the upcoming film, Stewart will play one of the women at a private detective agency. The movie is expected to be released in 2019, with “Pitch Perfect 2” director Elizabeth Banks working on this title, Den of Geek reported.

Sony Pictures is slated to produce the movie. Aside from the “Twilight” actress, the company is also interested in casting another award-winning actress in Lupita Nyong’o.

Movie remake

Kristen Stewart was catapulted to fame for her successful performance in the “Twilight” saga and it earned her several accolades from various award-giving bodies. She won Choice Movie Actress at the 2012 and 2013 Teen Choice Awards for “Breaking Dawn.” She also won in the Best Female Performance category at the MTV Movie and TV Awards.

After her lead role in “Snow White and the Huntsman” in 2010, she transitioned into smaller roles within the independent film genre. Some of those movies included “Still Alice,” “Personal Shopper,” and “Cafe Society.”

Meanwhile, Lupita Nyong’o earned several awards as well, including an Oscar. Nyong’o won Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role at the Academy Awards for her 2013 movie, “12 Years A Slave.”

Nyong’o was also nominated at the Golden Globes in the category of Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture.

The movie “12 Years A Slave” told the story of the struggles of slaves before the Civil War.

Nyong’o also starred in other movies such as "Roho," "East River," "Non-Stop," "Queen of Katwe," "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," and "The Jungle Book." Not limiting herself to just feature films, she has also been in television series, video games, and film shorts.
