Thousands of fans of the “Twilight” saga are still hopeful for another movie installment despite the fact that there is a very slim chance for it to be realized. Recent reports have claimed that Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have reunited again several years after their last film together.
‘Twilight’ stars seen together again amid reunion rumors
Daily Spy shared that Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have been spotted hanging out together. According to the news outlet, the former co-stars of Robert Pattinson were seen at the Roosevelt Hotel on Thursday, June 8.
Hitting the photo booth to take a snap of their unexpected get-together, the former “Twilight” lead stars turned BFFs were all smiles while enjoying the camera. As a matter of fact, the arms of the “Eclipse” actor were wrapped around the shoulder of Stella Maxwell’s girlfriend.
Just like Robert Pattinson’s pals, avid followers of Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner also gushed over the fact that the “New Moon” stars have seen each other again after a very long time. “This is so beautiful. Warms my heart to see how they became best friends on and off screen. Lovely pair #TaylorLautner #KristenStewart,” one fan wrote on Twitter, expressing his joy after seeing the idols together again.
Stewart-Lautner reunion hints possible ‘Twilight’ reunion?
After the unforeseen run-in made headlines, it also sparked speculations that the rumored new “Twilight” movie could happen soon. In fact, Robert Pattinson had already expressed his interest in being reunited with Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in a new film.
Speaking to Yahoo Movies, the fiancé of FKA Twigs shared that he would be very willing to make another vampire-themed movie if he was given a chance.
"So there could be some radical way of doing it, which could be quite fun. It's always difficult when there's no source material. But, yeah, I'm always curious,” the “Cosmopolis” actor revealed.
Kristen Stewart, on the other hand, has hinted the to same publication that she does not want to become a part of another production with her former beau.
“The Twilight thing started off small and then got bigger, but [what was inside it] was always the same. To be honest, we kind of told that story. We made five of them, so maybe not!”
