“The Originals” Season 5 will be the television show’s final bow and fans are about to witness another epic chapter of the Mikaelson family’s lives. As the curse is still active inside their bodies, it looks like it will take its toll on Niklaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan).

In an interview with Morgan, the 36-year-old actor teased what is about to come to his character and “The Vampire Diaries” spin-off’s ending. Also, there will be an epic battle going between Klaus and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis).

Marcel’s revenge

It looks like Marcel will take advantage of his last chance to take his sweet revenge against Klaus in “The Originals” Season 5.

According to Christian Post, Marcel has not forgotten what Klaus and his family did to Davina (Danielle Campbell); thus he is still planning to take his vengeance. Their fight has been put on hold because of the curse, but it is expected to continue now that The Hollow is safely locked inside his body.

In the series’ trailer, Marcel’s plan to put Klaus down with or without the help of Elijah (Daniel Gillies) is revealed. To recall, Elijah is one of the Mikaelsons who has a part of the curse’s soul. So, he might use Klaus’ half-brother for his vendetta.

Elijah should stay away from his family to avoid the curse from happening. Thus, he made himself forget everything to prevent himself from seeing his family.

However, Marcel will do everything to find him, and convince him to get back to New Orleans and meet Klaus. In the teaser, it looks like Marcel’s plan succeeds as Elijah shows up in a bar where Klaus is.

Morgan teases epic ending

“I hope that we’re going to get the end that is satisfying,” Joseph Morgan told Us Weekly about “The Originals” Season 5 finale.

The actor-director hopes that every character of “The Vampire Diaries” spin-off will also find “some sort of peace.” But before this happens, he teased that there will be chaos, betrayal, and bloodshed happening in the world they are into, although there will still be good stuff in it.

Persia White’s husband then said that he is not yet sure of what exactly is going to happen as he only read the scripts until the seventh episode.

“I’ve got six more to read, so I don’t know how it’s going to end,” he explained. His wife, on the other hand, hinted that there are a lot of surprises coming.

“The Originals” Season 5 is set to return in 2018 with its final 13 episodes on The CW. The series’ second and third episodes’ titles are now revealed - “One Wrong Turn on Bourbon” and “Ne Me Quitte Pas,” per its IMDb page.
