As the hype of “The Originals” Season 5 continues, thanks to Caroline Forbes’ (Candice King) appearance, there is a new star coming that will make the television show’s final season much-talked about. As “The Vampire Diaries” spinoff series is going to feature an eight-year time jump, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) will be now a grown-up lady and will be paired with a couple of guys.

According to TV Line, Torrance Coombs and Jedidiah Goodacre are joining the series’ final season and they will be both involved in the life of Klaus Mikaelson’s (Joseph Morgan) daughter.

Is one of them will be her love interest?

The new men in Hope’s life

Torrance Coombs will be playing the role of Declan in the coming “The Originals” Season 5. According to Entertainment Weekly, his character is described as a flirty, charming, and roguish Irish chef to whom Hayley will be linked.

As a matter of fact, he is said to be her “friend with benefits.” Declan has no idea of the supernatural events happening in New Orleans. He, too, is not aware that Hope is actually involved in the mystical occurrences in the city and part of the famous vampire family.

Jedidiah Goodacre is going to portray Roman, a charming but devilish vampire that Klaus’ daughter will meet at the Salvatore Boarding School for the Young and Gifted.

He will have a big interest in knowing things about Hope's family after a “mysterious incident” happens. Her new classmate is a newly-turned vampire that will possibly be her love interest.

Coombs is known for playing the role of Bash in the first three seasons of “Reign.” Goodacre is famous for being a Disney Channel star.

In fact, fans recognize him as Prince Chad in the movie “Descendants.”

A deferred romance

Meanwhile, fans should limit their expectations on Caroline’s appearance in “The Originals” Season 5. As viewers are all hoping that she and Klaus’ deferred romance will be rekindled, it looks like this won't be the case.

There are swirling rumors that the two will just remain friends when they finally see each other again in “The Vampire Diaries” spinoff series season finale.

Although Caroline will offer a hand to help Klaus in the toughest time of his life, according to Christian Post, she will remain in love with his late husband, Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley).

She is still wearing their ring as her necklace pendant. Caroline will be the new headmistress of the Salvatore Boarding School where Hope is studying along with Alaric Saltzman (Matthew Davis). There is a big possibility that she and Klaus will get close again.
