“The Flash” Season 4 is expected to premiere on Tuesday, October 10 at 8 PM. The first episode of the next installment is titled, “The Flash Reborn.” According to a report by Den of Geek, Grant Gustin will reprise his role as Barry. He will be joined by Candice Patton as Iris and Keiynan Lonsdale as Kid Flash. The group will be completed when Jesse L. Martin as Joe and Carlos Valdes as Vibe return. The league will perform their duties of safeguarding the Central City. The official synopsis of “The Flash,” reveals that the Central City is now going to come under the attack of a “powerful armored villain.” There are no details about the name of the villain available as of now.

Characters update

A report by Variety stated that Sugar Lyn Beard has been hired to play the role of Rebecca Sharpe in the upcoming season of “The Flash.” Sharpe is also recognized as Hazard in Flash’s comics. She will make her first appearance in the third episode of the upcoming season. She is going to be a tough nut to crack even for Team Flash. It has been suggested that she is going to pose as the threat to Central City till the end of this season. Another one of the bad guys is Ralph Dibny, also known as the Elongated Man. Actor Hartley Sawyer will be seen playing this role. Apart from this, Danny Trejo of the “Machete” fame will be seen playing the role of “Breacher.” Neil Sandilands of “The 100” fame will be another one of the villains in “The Flash.” The actor will play the role of “The Thinker” who is a meta-human and has the ability to think ultra-fast.

The Thinker is further accompanied by The Mechanic, whose responsibility is to create devices for him. Kim Engelbrecht has been hired to play the character of The Mechanic, a report by TV Line reads.

Amunet Black's role

According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, Katee Sackhoff will reprise her role as Amunet Black. Black is DC Comics’ most notorious villains.

She will make her first appearance in the season’s fifth episode. “The Flash,” fifth episode is titled, “Girls Night Out.” Sackhoff will occupy much of the screen time in the process. Her group also consists of Hunter Zolomon and Goldface. They have been a part of DC Comics for a long time. In fact, Black has made an appearance in comics other than “The Flash.” One of the best examples can be seen in “The Riddick.” The comic was adapted into a movie, wherein popular actor Vin Diesel played the main character.
