“Supergirl” season 3 will return in a few weeks and promo clips keeps on teasing the chaos that is upon National City. Will Kara Danvers’ state as Supergirl affect the local citizens?
According to TV Line, first set of the images in “Supergirl” Season 3 were released. The photos featured the citizens of National City fleeing from the unknown enemy. This happened during a potential ceremony for the Girl of Steel.

TVLine also reported that the official episode description of the series reads as: “Kara deals with the loss of Mon-El by focusing all her energy on being Supergirl and the mysterious new threat against National City.” It adds how viewers will see Alex confessing a secret to Maggie about their approaching marriage.
Moreover, a National City citizen makes a mysterious connection to Kara (Melissa Benoist) while Lena (Katie McGrath) is set to take a bold move. The upcoming season showcases the chaotic state of the city. On the other hand, the images also featured actions from the Danvers couple and as expected, they are always ready to save the day!
Once again, fans had a glimpse of Erica Duncan’s Alura in the photos. The main villain of Season 3 is the most awaited character as well. In my previous report, we revealed that Odette Annable will portray Reign.
Prior to this character, she will be living as Samantha Arias in National City. That is because she will reportedly have no idea of what she would become.
Viewers can expect an origin story in Season 3. We first saw Reign when she was an infant, sent from planet Krypton to Earth. Her role was described as one of the finest world killers.
Saturn Girl heads to National City
Variety reported that Amy Jackson will portray the latest hero headed to Earth. This marks the very first US debut of the Bollywood actress.
Jackson was initially known as a model. It can be recalled that Alexz Johnson played the role in “Smallville” Season 8. Therefore, this is not the first time Saturn Girl appeared in a DC series.
Who is Saturn Girl? Imra Ardeen was born on Titan, described as one of Saturn’s moons. She arrived on Earth to help Kara Danvers face one of her biggest threats.
Ardeen was described as a kind and strong-willed hero. Her ability allows her to use telekinetic powers to help those who are in need.
Furthermore, Jackson adds to several new actors who will join “Supergirl” Season 3. This includes Carl Lumbly as M’yrnn J’onzz, Adrian Pasdar as Morgan Edge, and Yael Grobglas as Psi. The Melissa Benoist-led series returns on Monday, October 9.
