Steven Tyler, 69, and girlfriend, Aimee Preston, 28, were photographed over the weekend wearing similar white dresses on the Celebrity Fight Night Red Carpet in Rome. Tyler, the frontman of legendary rock group Aerosmith, has always been one to raise questions over the years concerning his fashion style choices, and much younger girlfriends without batting an eye.
Male fashion choices in 2017, not such a big deal
Male celebrities or their family members wearing female clothing has become a bit of a fashion statement of sorts over the past few years.
Hollywood mega star Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith has grown accustomed to son Jaden Smith appearing in public from time to time not only in female dresses but also with an occasional bizarre costume or two.

When asked about his fashion choices, Jaden revealed he did not identify with male/female clothing and chooses what he wears by what he likes, not for what sex it is allegedly designed for.
In early 2017, Jaden Smith also became the face of Louis Vuitton's new gender fluid clothing campaign. Another celebrity couple that has defended their son's choice to wear wigs and dresses is former "90210" star Brian Austin Green and his wife actress Megan Fox.
The couple was slammed with disagreeing remarks about allowing their 4-year-old son Noah to wear dresses.
Brian Austin Green responded to the remarks by stating in a recent Hollywood Pipeline interview that his son is only 4. He does not see it as a big deal, and if his son is happy doing then that is fine with him."I feel like at 4, at 5, that's the time he should be having fun.
He's not harming anyone wearing a dress," said Brian, who has four sons altogether. "So, if he wants to, awesome. Good on him."
Steven Tyler is also a style maker/risk taker and looked quite comfortable on the Red Carpet sporting his white dress, which was paired with dark pants, giving the dress more of a robe look.
Tyler also looked very comfortable with his much younger girlfriend Aimee, who is only two years older than Tyler's youngest child, who, also wore a matching white shirt and skirt.
As for Steven Tyler, when has this rocker ever given two thoughts about what anyone thinks about what he is doing. The man can sing, he is 69, rich, has a hot young girlfriend and is one cool dude, we'd say he is doing okay in all aspects of his life. Wouldn't you say so?
