Many fans are now excited for the “Outlander” Season 3 premiere next week. The Droughtlander will finally be over as the series’ upcoming third season is set to divulge the fate of star-crossed lovers Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Randall-Fraser (Caitriona Balfe)

Spoilers suggest that the third installment will pick up where the second season left off and it will focus on the events that took place in Diana Gabaldon’s “Voyager” novel. Recently, Sam and Caitriona have revealed the things viewers can expect as the new season of “Outlander” begins.

Claire Randall-Fraser reunites with Frank

One of the much-awaited scenes in “Outlander” Season 3 is the reunion of Claire and her husband Frank (Tobias Menzies). Jamie’s love interest is set to return to the 1940s to put closure on the things she left behind.

“There’s a lot of anger, a lot of regret,” Caitriona Balfe told Parade in an interview. “If it hadn’t been for Brianna, Claire would have stayed with Jamie, and she would have gone to Culloden and gladly died on that battlefield next to him,” Sam Heughan’s leading lady added.

While Claire adores Frank, she will still choose to be with Jamie. As a matter of fact, Balfe’s character is going to leave her daughter Brianna (Sophie Skelton) when she finds out that Jamie is still alive.

Caitriona Balfe claimed that Brianna allowed her mother, Claire, to return to the 18th century after learning that Jamie may have survived the Battle of Culloden. The 37-year-old Irish actress even emphasized that her character could never leave without the permission of her beloved daughter.

Reports suggest that Sam Heughan’s Jamie will be badly wounded after battling with Captain Black Jack Randall, who will also be portrayed by Tobias Menzies.

The 37-year-old Scottish actor revealed that he loves their fight scenes very much and that they are totally prepared for it.
