On Friday's episode of "The Young and the Restless" things got pretty intense when Victoria locked herself in the company elevator with Phyllis. The two women had words, and it is clear that each one of them believes she is the woman Billy will choose. On Monday Vicky made her move on her ex-husband. And sealed it with a kiss, which he returned.
Phyllis and Victoria come clean with each other
During their elevator encounter, Victoria admits she is aware that Phyllis is the one who pushed Ben Hochman in her direction. She adds that Billy had discussed with her how angry Phyllis was that he and Vicky had been working long nights together.
She asks if the goal was to take down "Brash and Sassy," Victoria herself, or both. Phyllis responds by talking about the hot sex she has with Billy and accuses Vicky of needing help.
Each woman leaves the elevator realizing that the other is ready for a battle to the finish to see who ends up with Billy. Phyllis is clearly rattled because she had no idea Vicky would ever connect her to Ben Hoffman. She also was not prepared for this more assertive version and is not aware of how far the new Vicky Newman is willing to go in order to reach her goal. Victoria is fed up with Phyllis and immediately makes her move once she returns to the office.
Victoria kisses Billy, and he responds to it
Victoria returns to "Brash and Sassy" and pours out her heart to her ex.
She tells him she appreciates how devoted he is to the company and how he is an amazing man. She apologizes for not sticking with him during their marriage, then pulls him into a deep passionate kiss. Billy does not pull away but kisses her back. Vicky pulls away saying it was not right for her to kiss him because he is with Phyllis.
When she walks away, however, viewers can see a coy smile on her face.
Billy clearly enjoyed the kiss, and the look on his face said he was mildly surprised that his ice princess planted such a passionate lip lock on him. This kiss has taken things to another level because Billy's memories of Vicky have been in the past and his recent romantic encounters have all been with Phyllis.
Now it is his former wife who is the forbidden fruit, and the look on his face indicates that Billy Abbot may want more from Victoria.
Phyllis is no match for this new assertive Victoria Newman, who is in her face and figuring out all her schemes. She ran to Jack asking how did Vicky find out about Ben Hochman and also Jack's wanting to remove "Brash and Sassy" products from Fenmores.
