Lady Gaga, the 31-year old singer, has canceled all her upcoming shows in Brazil due to a health condition. Entertainment Tonight reported that Gaga was hospitalized and the singer took to Instagram on Thursday to share the news with her followers. Lady Gaga is reportedly suffering from unbearable pain. In line with this, Gaga is believed to also withdraw from the upcoming annual music festival to focus first on her condition.
On Instagram, Gaga wrote, "I was taken to the hospital, it is not simply hip pain or wear and tear from the road, I am in severe pain.
But I am in good hands with the very best doctors."
Canceling shows
After being hospitalized, Gaga revealed that her shows would be canceled for the meantime. She took to Instagram and shared a snap of her arm with an IV. She felt devastated that she won't be able to rock Rio on her upcoming shows. The famous singer further added that she's willing to do everything for her fans in Brazil; however, she needs to take good care of her body first.
She ended her statement with a promise to return to Brazil and to pursue her canceled shows very soon. She also felt sorry for what happened and added that she loved everyone from Rio a lot. A representative of Gaga issued an official statement on her behalf.
It was revealed that her severe pain had affected her ability to perform on her shows.
Expert medical professionals
Despite her recent health condition, the singer's representative has assured her fans that the "Bad Romance" singer is under the care of expert physicians. Meanwhile, Gaga also sent her love and gratitude to all her fans in Brazil for their continued support.
On Tuesday, the singer revealed on Twitter about the severe pain she is dealing with. The singer wanted to raise awareness of her illness called, "fibromyalgia." She revealed that she thought an ice would help her ease the pain; however, her condition has gotten worse.
It was not the first time for Gaga to cancel her shows. To recall, the singer also postponed one of her shows in Montreal, Canada, following the news that she got sick.
Meanwhile, an upcoming documentary show of the singer which airs on Netflix later this month will further reveal her different health struggles.
Fibromyalgia is a certain disorder which caused severe muscle pain and tenderness to the person. According to People, it has been a long time since Gaga has suffered from any health issues.
