Last year, Dolly Parton raised close to $9 million for victims of the Gatlinburg wildfires. After that incredible amount of money was raised by her "My People Fund," she had the following to say:

“I am overwhelmed by the generosity of the people who have donated from all over the country and to my friends who donated their time, their talent, and money for My People,” Parton said.
