Music icon Kelly Clarkson performed on the September 20 episode of “America’s Got Talent” Season 12. The Grammy award-winning singer graced the Dolby Theatre Stage in California on the night the grand winner of the reality talent search was announced, People reported.

Wearing a plain black ensemble, Clarkson sang her new single “Love So Soft” with supporting vocals live on “America’s Got Talent” stage. The song was released in 2017 under her latest album, “Meaning Of Life.”

The 35-year-old singer also performed alongside finalists Angelica Hale and Kechi Okwuchi.

The three of them belted out her hit song, “Stronger” together with a live band on stage.

Clarkson spoke to the finalists and told them, “You made it this far... It’s all about getting on television and having people see you,” People reported. Hale is a 10-year-old singer who has Filipino roots. She was declared the first runner-up in this season of the reality talent search.

Meanwhile, Okwuchi has an inspiring story behind her talented voice. She is one of the survivors of a plane crash in 2005 which killed her companions, Heavy reported.

She recovered from the incident but her body and face showed marks from the catastrophe. Since then, music has become her means to forget about this difficult time in her life, according to Heavy.

She also took some photos with Cowell and posted them on social media, People further noted.
