After dating for more than four years, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx finally went public with their relationship on Labor Day holiday. In the exclusive photos obtained by "Daily Mail," the couple can be seen enjoying a romantic walk on a beach in Malibu, California on Monday. Katie is seen wearing a blue frock whereas Jamie donned a black T-shirt and sweatpants. The couple did show some PDA as they held each other's hands, before splashing around in the water.
Holmes and Foxx: Their previous sightings together
This is not the first time that the duo has been spotted together, as earlier in April, a fan photographed the couple enjoying their dinner in New York.
A month later, the couple was spotted boarding a chartered plane in France. While in Paris, Katie also visited Foxx on Luc Besson’s studio Cité du Cinemas, where he was filming his new movie "Robin Hood." Last year in December, the couple reportedly traveled to Mexico to celebrate their birthdays.
Holmes and Foxx: Together since 2013
The 49-year-old rapper, singer, and actor reportedly started dating the 38-year-old actress in 2013, a year after Katie's high profile divorce from actor Tom Cruise. In August 2013, the then alleged couple were present at a benefit event in Hamptons where they danced with each other. However, when asked about Holmes, Jamie Foxx denied the "hilarious" rumors. Both Holmes and Foxx have consistently denied dating each other in the past.
In 2015, the "Django Unchained" actor was asked whether he was seeing Holmes, to which he replied that they were only seen together because they were working on the same animation project.
Holmes and Foxx: Why didn't they go public earlier?
Just last year, "RadarOnline" claimed that as part of her divorce settlement with ex-husband Tom Cruise, Holmes has agreed to not date anyone publically for the next five years.
That five year period ended this year in June, probably which is why Foxx and Holmes decided to end all the rumors once and for all.
Brief history of Katie's relationship with Tom Cruise
Katie and Tom got engaged in 2005 after dating for a short period of time. In April 2006, the couple welcomed their first daughter Suri and later that year in November, the two tied the knot in an elaborate Scientology ceremony in Italy. The duo became one of Hollywood's most popular couple, however, in 2012 Holmes filed for divorce. Cruise has also appeared alongside Foxx in the 2004 thriller movie "Collateral."
