Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez split months before the arrival of their first child, "Baby Lo," but could a reconciliation be in the works? According to a new report, the former couple was recently caught flirting with one another on social media as they continue to parent their one-month-old son.

On September 12, In Touch Weekly magazine told readers that the "Teen Mom 2" star and her third Baby Daddy, who has not yet shown his face on the MTV reality series, recently engaged in an awkward exchange on Twitter which they deemed to be flirtatious.

As the magazine revealed, Lopez tweeted the word "Blue" on August 11 and moments later, Lowry responded by writing, "Red."

Although it was unclear what the two were tweeting about, the magazine suggested that the civil exchange may be a sign that a reunion is possible. After all, the former pair appeared to be completely estranged from one another just weeks ago but now, as they enjoy spending time together with their child, they seem to be in a much better place.

Earlier this week, the "Teen Mom 2" star shared a blog post with her many fans and followers in which she and a friend revealed several details of the moments leading up to the birth of "Baby Lo" and the moments that followed.

A short time later, she responded to a fan who suggested that Lopez share his story as well by telling the fan that she had already asked him to share his thoughts.

In another post on social media in recent days, Lowry posted an image of Lopez and their son and pointed out that they looked like "twins." In the photo, Lopez was holding his son as they stared at one another.

Prior to welcoming baby number three with her ex-boyfriend, Chris Lopez, Lowry welcomed her three-year-old son Lincoln with her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, and seven-year-old son Isaac with her former boyfriend, Jo Rivera. Although Lowry told Marroquin last year that she didn't want more kids and preferred to instead focus on her career and two sons, she got pregnant with Lopez's child just months later and welcomed her third son in early August.
