“Arrow” Season 6 revealed newly released images for the upcoming installment and viewers can expect more action in Star City. Two characters stand out in these photos, that is, Black Siren and Black Canary.
The last time we saw these ladies was in Lian Yu. Black Siren was portrayed by Katie Cassidy while the new Black Canary was played by Juliana Harkavy. Their first face-off was on the Island when Dinah Drake and the rest of team Arrow members were trying to break off from Prometheus. In line with this, it seems like a forthcoming rematch is set to happen in “Arrow” Season 6.
New Black Canary vs. Black Siren
According to Cinema Blend, it was already confirmed that both Dinah Drake and Black Siren will survive the explosion. However, the growing rivalry between the two would be the most nostalgic situation for the viewers. It can be recalled that Black Siren is the doppelganger of the original Black Canary, Laurel Lance.
Laurel Lance, who is known for being Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) ex-girlfriend, was also portrayed by Katie Cassidy. But eventually, team Arrow considered having Dinah Drake on the team after Laurel’s death. Drake was a meta-human, possessing sonic-powered ability.
One of the photos showed that both female characters were suited u,p standing over several henchmen.
They were giving each other a smirk. The setting happened in Green Arrow’s lair. Therefore, viewers must expect Siren can penetrate team Arrow's hideout.
It seems like they are enjoying the fight which looks like a rematch. My previous report revealed how the new Black Canary will bring trouble to her teammates. She will be a cockier than ever.
“I can tell you that that point of view and her new swagger are going to have some real consequences for the team down the road,” executive producer Wendy Mericle revealed. Will this be the moment that we’re all afraid of?
Black Siren’s good side
On the other hand, the source pointed out that Dinah and Siren might actually be working together.
In the past season, we have witnessed how Oliver Queen tried to give his ex-girlfriend’s doppelganger a chance. It can’t be helped since she is wearing the face of Laurel Lance.
The earlier source suggests that with the henchmen unconscious, their smiles probably symbolized victory. After all, Arrow is not new to these tactics. It was recently used in Lian Yu when Deathstroke pretended that he was on Prometheus’s side. Furthermore, fans will find this out when “Arrow” Season 6 returns on October 12, Thursday.
