Kailyn Lowry gave birth to her son over a month ago and she has been enjoying her life with a newborn at home. On Twitter, she reveals that she still struggling to find the perfect name for her son as she’s struggling to find one to truly suit him. She has also revealed that she gave birth to a son late at night, but up until this week, Kailyn has been very secretive about what had happened during the birth. Lowry never revealed to the world what went down during the night that baby Lo was born. Kailyn never even dished her due date to anyone.
The "Teen Mom 2" star shared the news that she was pregnant back in February and it sounds like friends were excited to see another one of her children being brought up in the public eye.
But it sounds like Kailyn is now opening up about the birth story, something that she felt she needed to share with her fans.
Baby Lo born within hours
According to a new tweet, Kailyn Lowry is now revealing that the birth was so fast that she barely made it to the hospital. Of course, her two previous births were nothing like this. As she explained, her labors with Isaac and Lincoln were much longer than with baby Lo. She has experienced labors close to 15 or 16 hours and she expected that her labor with this new baby would be just as long.
"Literally everything, from start to finish was 2 hours. Meanwhile, I realize, my doctor never made it to the hospital in time. So gets there in time to deliver my placenta," Kailyn writes on her website.
Kailyn explains that on the day she gave birth, she was hanging out with her friends. They were at her house playing some games when her mucous plug came out. Shortly after that, her water broke. It all went so fast that she didn’t know what to do. Instead of taking it easy and perhaps taking a shower, Kailyn realized something was going to happen very soon.
Not the only reality star with a quick birth
She points out that she rushed to the hospital and within two hours she had given birth to baby Lo. Chelsea DeBoer's story about Giving Birth to Watson Cole was just as dramatic. Overall, it was an easy birth with him, but she had barely made it to the hospital when she started pushing.
The second and third births are supposed to be easier, but these girls may not have expected them to be so quick.
To make it all very interesting, Lowry has asked her friends to write their experience of her birth story for her website. The girls wrote their point of view and fans loved hearing everything that had gone down at Kailyn Lowry’s house that night. Even though one can imagine it was stressful at the time, it sounds like Lowry was able to make it a fun event by blogging about the details and asking her friends to do the same.
