“Game of Thrones” Season 7 finale left us with an intensifying sex scene between Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). Well, of course, that’s apart from the Night King and his undead dragon Viserion, destroying one massive barrier in The Wall with the army of the dead. It has been confirmed that Jon is the only trueborn son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, therefore making him the true and rightful heir to the Iron Throne.
While it might cause a rift to Jon’s strengthened bond with Dany, we all know that they were being incestuous as they are blood-related. Recently, Harington somehow hinted the aftermath of his character’s romance with his auntie Dany.
Will Jon Snow father Dany’s child?
Recently, a fan-made account of Kit Harington posted a short clip showing the “Game of Thrones” star being asked by a fan if Jon Snow becomes a father in Season 8. He apparently did not say yes or no, but he only smiled and walked away. So, does it mean that he approved the fan’s query about becoming a father to Dany’s baby? The incest in the show is not new to everyone as we know that the twins Jamie and Cersei Lannister have both shared three children together (they’re all dead).
Cersei has previously said that they love each other and they want to keep the Lannister blood pure.
Jon and Dany’s romance may not be good
Peter Dinklage, who plays the role of Tyrion Lannister in “Game of Thrones” recently teased about Jon and Daenerys' romance and said that it might never end well in the show. "It's dangerous for everybody involved. I'm sure it is good for both of them in the moment, but you don't even get the relief of how beautiful it could be or should be," he said in a video obtained by Digital Spy. "No, it's not good, but it should be, but it's not. It's ['GOT'], there's a long history of romance not ending well on this show."
So, there you have it. It looks like Jon and Dany should fix their incestuous romance once they learn in “Game of Thrones” Season 8 that they are aunt and nephew.
She must know that Jon is actually Aegon Targaryen and she may never get hold of the Iron Throne. Well, that if they will all survive from the hands of the White Walkers with their Night King who now has an undead dragon that breathes blue smoke. Perhaps, there will be a massive time jump, and their Targaryen baby might save them all. How cool would that be?
“Game of Thrones” Season 8 is expected to return to the small screens in 2018 if the people behind the show will be quick wrapping it up. Otherwise, we all have to sit on our own Iron Throne until 2019. Stay tuned, folks!
