Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, on the popular TV show, Game of Thrones,” posted an image on Instagram. This image consisted of the directors and actors set to appear in the next season of the show. This is being taken as an official confirmation for the show’s successful step forward toward production. The show’s eighth season is going be the last installment. According to a report by Den of Geek, “Game of Thrones” Season 8 will premiere sometime in 2019. The fan-based website, Watchers on the Wall, has now obtained information about the new faces scheduled to appear in the upcoming season.

What do reports indicate?

The report states that a guy, of the age of 35 to 50, will appear as a member of The Golden Company. He will carry an authority like no other, the kind that only Kings of “Game of Thrones” have been able to carry. He will also be fiercely independent by nature. This will be denoted by his ability to ride his own horse, a report by Winter Is Coming states. Which actor will be playing this role hasn’t been finalized yet. His bit of filming is expected to begin in December this year. Therefore, there is plenty of time until the show-runners decide on anyone's face. His role will be especially important in churning out how Cersei’s plans fall into place, especially with regards to betraying Jon Snow and Daenerys.

New cast and characters

Another guy, between the age of 25 to 35 is also being cast. This man will consist of honesty, straightforwardness, and simplicity as his primary characteristics. His character is expected to begin shooting in November of this year. The “Game of Thrones” cast will also be joined by an 18-year-old sassy girl.

Her character is speculated to share a “memorable” scene with the leading cast members of the show. She is also among the very few female characters in the show, which makes her role even more important.

There are four more new faces set to join the cast members. A northern sentry (age 18 to 25), a sailor (age 35 to 50), and two guards.

They are all expected to begin shooting by December. The casting director for “Game of Thrones” is currently on the look-out for the right candidates. Meanwhile, George R. R. Martin has confirmed that roughly five prequels to “Game of Thrones” are officially in the making. The first season of this prequel will air in the first half of 2019, according to Martin. It is rumored that many prominent characters in the last season of the show will die.
