Another celebrity couple have called it quits. Fergie and Josh Duhamel confirmed that they have ended their marriage after eight long years. In fact, the two revealed that they have been separated since early this year and asked that the public respect their decision to keep the split a private matter to allow their family to adjust.

In a joint statement released to Entertainment Tonight, the pair reassured the public that the decision to separate was made in good faith and "with absolute love and respect" for each other.
"We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family," the statement read.
The publication further learned that Fergie and Josh Duhamel have officially called it quits in February. Prior to that, the couple went on a family vacation to celebrate their eighth wedding anniversary with their four-year-old son, Axl Jack. The two even shared a few snippets from their fun beach outing that showed no signs that the coupe were going through marital problems.
Hence, fans and colleagues were shocked when they learned about the split. An affiliate said Fergie and Josh Duhamel have tried to make their marriage work despite their busy schedules. “They really had a good dynamic together.
They’re both kind, nice, good people," the affiliate said.
How romance started for Fergie and Josh
Fergie and Josh Duhamel first met when the Black Eyed Peas filmed an episode of a TV program that starred the "Transformers" actor in 2004. In the same year, the two became an item and reportedly started dating.
The singer and actor announced they were engaged in December 2007.
They officially became husband and wife on January 10, 2009. The private wedding was held at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu and was attended by some of the couple's most closest friends in the industry.
Shortly after the wedding news came out, Josh Duhamel was accused of being unfaithful to his marriage with Fergie. These rumors, however, died down when the two announced they were expecting their first child in February 2013.
The Black Eyed Peas member and "Safe Haven" actor welcomed the addition to their family on August 29th, 2013. Fergie previously revealed that she and her husband have agreed to have two kids.
Josh Duhamel, on the other hand, explained that the secret to their relationship was giving each other enough room to do what they are passionate about. He added that both of them do not get involved with each other's business, which worked well for the marriage.
