Show cliffhanger

Fans were surprised when “America’s Got Talent” finalist Evie Clair announced that she might not be able to perform in the grand finals episode. One of the judges of the show, Simon Cowell relayed this information to entertainment news show Extra.

“We reached out to the family and [Evie Clair] and said, ‘It is your choice whether you want to come on the show or not,” Cowell told Extra. The show is willing to welcome her back if the young singer decides not to grace to finals, and come back in the next season, he added.

However, she is set to perform Tuesday night at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Her mother Hillary Abplanalp told My LA News that her daughter has finally decided to compete in the “America’s Got Talent” finals.

She added, “We are happy to be back in Los Angeles with the remaining cast, crew, and staff who have become like a second family to us.” The grand finals of “America’s Got Talent” will be a two-day show, with a performance night on September 19 and results night on September 20th.
