Get ready because Sasha Pieterse is bringing her A-game to Season 25 of "Dancing With The Stars" and her fans couldn't be happier. After seven seasons of torment and trying to figure out who A was on "Pretty Little Liars," Pieterse is ready for a new challenge.
Sashas got the moves
Pieterse was a huge fan favorite on the FreeForm hit series. Fans got their happy ending recently when Emison became engaged and was raising their twin daughters although they still have no clue who the babies’ daddy really is. But I digress, Sasha is about to show us moves we didn’t know she had.
Her parents are actually professional dancers.
“That’s actually one of the reasons we immigrated to America. My mom cried when I told her. She's beyond excited... I think just kind of proving to myself that I can do something totally different, something that I'm not used to. It's definitely not in my comfort zone," Pieterse told Entertainment Tonight recently. Though Growing up in a home with parents who are professional dancers must have rubbed off just a bit.
Pieterse was actually asked to be on the hit dancing show years ago, but due to her hectic PLL schedule, it wasn’t possible. Pieterse will be teamed up this season with Dancing’s Gleb Savchenko and will call themselves what else but, The “A team" inspired by PLL.
This season, Sasha will be competing against Malcolm in the Middle star, Frankie Muniz, husband and wife duo Vanessa/Nick Lachey, real estate guru, Barbara Corcoran, 80's mega star, Debbie Gibson, HGTV's Drew Scott of Property Brothers, Football pro, Terrell Owens, WWE star, Nikki Bella, critically-acclaimed violinist, Lindsey Stirling, Los Angeles Lakers star, Derek Fisher, Paralympic Gold Medalist, Victoria Arlen and multi-talented artist, Jordan Fisher.
Got a secret can you keep it
Pieterse teased to her 2M fans on social media “counting down the days until I get to share a big secret with all of you.” It's expected that those 2M fans will be watching and voting for her each and every week to help her win that Mirrorball. Pieterse will dance in the steps, pun intended, of fellow PLL alums Janel Parrish and Brant Daugherty who finished third and seventh in seasons 19 and 17.
It will be interesting to see if Sasha can go further than her PLL buds. I know I can’t wait to see her show off her moves. "Dancing With The Stars" season 25 premieres, September 18th on ABC.
Will you be watching Sasha this season on "Dancing With The Stars?" Let’s keep the conversation going.
