On the last episode of the summer reality show "Big Brother," host julie chen announced that she had some big news for the viewers. Chen informed all of those who were tuned in that this winter, there would be a "Celebrity Big Brother" coming to CBS. "Celebrity Big Brother" is new to the US, but it has been airing for many years in other places including the UK, Finland, and Australia.

"Big Brother has been dominating pop culture throughout its 19 seasons, and it is exciting to grow the franchise with the first-ever celebrity edition in the U.S.," said executive producers Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan.

Julie Chen has been hosting "Big Brother" since the beginning. The first season began back in the summer of 2000 and is now in its 19th season, and Chen is still the host. She will also take on the hosting duties of "Celebrity Big Brother."

Chen did not announce who will be on the celebrity edition or when it will premiere, but there is already a lot of buzz about the upcoming show. "Big Brother" fans are already making predictions and wish-lists in terms of which celebs they want to see on the celebrity edition.

Possible celebrity house guests

Like anything else, there have been some rumors floating around as to who will be coming into the BB house this winter. Some names that have been dropped are reality star Dog the Bounty Hunter, Lance Bass from NSYNC, and Natalie Nunn from the show "Bad Girls Club."

Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman is a 64-year-old bounty hunter and bail bondsman.

He and his wife Beth Chapman starred in the popular reality show "Dog the Bounty Hunter" for eight years. The last episode of the show aired on A&E in June of 2012.

Lance Bass is a former boy band member of the group NSYNC. The 38-year-old has also starred in movies and television shows, and wrote a book titled "Out of Sync."

Natalie Nunn appeared on the fourth season of the reality show "Bad Girls Club.

" Her season of the show aired on the Oxygen channel from December of 1999 until March of 2010. Nunn was forced to leave the show in episode 11 when she got into a physical fight with other cast members.

The next episode of "Big Brother" will air on Sunday, September 10 at 8/7c.
