“Arrow” Season 6 will be returning in October, and a major character is set to make a possible comeback. It is the role played by Colton Haynes and was there since Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) started his vigilante crusade.
According to Screen Rant, Colton Haynes teased the possible return of Roy Harper, a.k.a. Arsenal. It can be recalled that Oliver was determined to be a vigilante alone. But later on, he accepted help from Felicity Smoak (Emily Beckett Richards) and John Diggle (David Ramsey). Following this, Roy Harper became his protégé, training him to join Team Arrow properly.
Who is Roy Harper?
It can be recalled that Roy Harper claimed to be the Arrow. This was when Oliver Queen’s identity was at stake. Harper surrendered to the authority and faked his death. After this, he left Starling City and started a new life under with a new identity.
Since then, he only made appearances for a few times. Roy Harper was also known for being Thea Queen’s (Willa Holland) boyfriend. She is the younger sister of Oliver Queen. Thea tried visiting Roy once in his new place at Monument Point.
However, he eventually left after convincing Thea to establish her place in Team Arrow. This led her to be Speedy, wearing Roy’s Arsenal red suit. Roy only returned once when he was blackmailed by a villain named The Calculator, who is Felicity’s father.

Colton Haynes’ tweet about his comeback
The earlier mentioned source revealed that Colton Haynes posted on Twitter he’ll be coming back. When asked by a fan, he responded with this positive answer.
A fan expressed that his character was hugely missed in the series.
Moreover, Colton Haynes made a recent return in “Teen Wolf” Season 6. Fans of “Arrow” would surely be delighted if Haynes makes the same move in Season 6. While his tweet does not reveal much detail, it would be ideal as the new season will be airing soon.
After all, he is the only person that was safe when the explosion in Lian Yu happened.
Meanwhile, Harper was not able to make an appearance as well during the 100th episode. He will surely make a huge impact once he returns in the sixth season.
First, Thea is no longer with the Team Arrow. If Roy returns, there will be an open opportunity for Arsenal’s comeback in the team. Second, Harper has unfinished business with Season 6’s Slade Wilson a.k.a. Deathstroke. Roy Harper will have trust issues with him even if he is into the path of redemption with Oliver Queen in “Arrow” Season 6.
