'Arrow' Season 6 will see Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) experience the pain of losing his friends. According to Christian Post, one or two of his friends might have died during the Season 5 finale.
The outlet revealed executive producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed some casualties during the explosion that took place in Lian Yu Island. It can be recalled that Adrian Chase, aka Prometheus (Josh Segarra), sets off the bomb by killing himself.
Who survives in 'Arrow' season 6?
While Oliver aka Green Arrow managed to have their way out of Lian Yu Island before the explosion happened, the same cannot be said for the rest of the squad.
However, Guggenheim teased that anything can still happen in the series.
The veteran EP shared that he understands why people are trying to come up with the conclusion of who lives or dies during the cliffhanger. Unfortunately, he believes that this kind of thinking is not a good idea. He compared the said situation with 'The Walking Dead'. The prominent TV show had a season finale where all the series regulars are in the same dire circumstance. As Guggenheim pointed out, being regulars does not necessarily mean they could always turn out alive.
Villains to join The CW series
The earlier source revealed that Katie Cassidy will return as Black Siren. She will be one of the villains despite Prometheus' death.
Well, there is still unfinished business between her and the Green Arrow.
Meanwhile, Black Siren is the doppelganger of former team arrow member Laurel Lance. It is not sure whether or not Oliver Queen will manage to defeat her. The last time they fought, he got carried away thinking he can still save Black Siren from the darkness she is into.
On the other hand, Samantha, the mother of Oliver's son William, is expected to be one of the casualties. If she dies, Oliver will automatically be the child's guardian. Our previous report already mentioned that season 6 might focus on William and Oliver's relationship.
"I am excited that not only are they going to learn about having the father-son relationship, I think we are going to explore that in Season 6," says Stephen Amell.
One major issue that could stop their relationship from growing is the fact that William knows his father is the Green Arrow. Will the child be able to love him or hate him?
