Host Tom Bergeron will put some of the rumors to rest on August 24 when he introduces the pro dance partners on ABC's morning news show. The network has confirmed that the pros will show be revealed but they have yet to confirm if the Celebrities will also be introduced. Here's what we know so far.
Although there have been plenty of cast rumors about the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars," ABC is doing a good job keeping leaks to a minimum.
However, the cast is expected to be one of the most talked-about group of celebrities — after all, it's the show's 25th season! There is no doubt ABC will be going all-out to provide fans with top notch entertainment and amazing dance routines.
'DWTS' cast reveal
According to Gold Derby, this season's pros will be introduced on Thursday, August 24 during between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. ET on "Good Morning America." Does that mean the cast will also be revealed during the morning news show? We hope so!
Last summer, the Season 23 cast was revealed alongside their partners on August 29. So, it's possible Tom Bergeron will introduce both the celebrities and pros on Thursday. It will be worth tuning in to find out.
If not, the cast reveal can't be far away — the season premiere is scheduled for September 18.
'DWTS' season 25 cast rumors
As far as the pros go, we'll definitely know who the celebrities will be partnered with on Thursday. Mark Ballas and Derek Hough are rumored to be sitting it out again this season but never say never!
It would come as a big surprise if defending-champ (season 24) Emma Slater isn't part of the cast.
Sharna Burgess, Val Chmerkovskiy, and Lindsay Arnold are all expected to return to the dance floor as well. What about Val's brother, Maks, and his wife, Peta Murgatroyd? Time will tell if they decide to compete again.
Celebrity rumors are running rampant this season. By now, there is usually some word as to who will be part of the cast, but its all been fairly vague.
Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer declined an offer from ABC, but there are rumblings that former White House communications director, Anthony Scaramucci may be part of the cast.
Judge Carrie Ann Inaba recently revealed the names of the celebrities she'd like to see on the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars." Inaba told the Insider (video below) she'd "love to see" boxer Manny Pacquiao, talk show host Kelly Ripa, actor Keanu Reeves, and actress Lindsay Lohan. Best bets on that list? Manny and Lindsay.
