Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren Akins were reported to have welcomed their daughter Ada James in all smiles on Saturday, August 12. A representative has confirmed the news to People that their daughter was born in Nashville, Tennessee and Ada has weighed approximately 7 lbs. and 3oz. Meanwhile, the birth of their daughter was also confirmed by the country singer-songwriter as he posted the first photo of their baby girl on Instagram the next morning.

Meanwhile, Lauren also took to Instagram and posted another photo of Ada James. On the caption, the new mother wrote her message which says, “Our baby girl is here sweet Ada James Akins came into the world at 10:28 last night after almost 36 hours of labor." Ada joins her elder sister, Willa Gray, whom the couple has adopted in Uganda back in May.

Thomas and Lauren couldn't help but be thankful for the miracle that God has given them. Lauren has also shared that their new baby girl is stinking cute and they simply couldn't help but stare at her. As of this time, People has reported that Thomas and Lauren were both resting while spending most of their time with their new baby.

Lauren has also thanked everyone for the prayers after she managed to conquer her 36 long hours of labor. Meanwhile, the new mom has also added that Willa Gray, their adopted daughter, was also very excited to finally have her baby sister at home.
