“The Flash” Season 4 is going to be even more exciting with the addition of new characters and a new Big Bad. We have narrowed down their names in the list below and added some plot spoilers for the upcoming season.
Clifford DeVoe aka The Thinker
Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg has since confirmed in previous interviews that the main villain in Season 4 is not a speedster. This time he is human, a failed lawyer, who has exceptional skills. In the DC comics, Clifford DeVoe aka The Thinker is also known as the man with the Fastest Mind Alive. He is a member of the Injustice Society.
Season 3 attributed to the villain character in two episodes. The first was when Abra Kadabra, a metahuman from Earth 19 and from the future, mentioned his name to Barry Allen in passing. The second was when Savitar was at S.T.A.R. Labs and he told The Flash that they invented the cerebral inhibitor to use against DeVoe. Barry had asked Savitar about DeVoe and learned that he has yet to meet him (see videos below).
Actor Neil Sandilands (“The 100”) will portray Clifford DeVoe aka The Thinker. His involvement in the season was confirmed during the recent San Diego Comic Convention.
Dany Trejo in Season 4
The veteran actor will play as the Breacher, a fearless bounty hunter and father to Gypsy (Jessica Camacho).
According to Comicbook, in “The Flash” Season 4 his mission is to prevent any inter-dimensional traveler from endangering life on his planet in Earth 19, especially Gypsy’s. It is supposedly likely that he and his daughter will be at odds with each other in the new season, given that Gypsy seems interested to remain in Earth 1.
He will also clash with members of Team Flash.
Elongated Man
Hartley Sawyer (“The Young and the Restless”) will play as Ralph Dibny better known as the Elongated Man in the upcoming season. The character is no enemy to the scarlet speedster in the comics. Instead, he becomes an ally to Team Flash. He doubles as a private investigator by day and a masked vigilante at night.
He patrols the streets and fight crimes using his ability to stretch his body to any form. There are speculations that the Elongated Man may appear again in Season 5.
The Mechanic
Kim Engelbrecht (“Eye In The Sky”) will play the character, known in the DC comics as an ally to The Thinker. She is DeVoe’s right hand.
A Samuroid
One of Bryan Katana's creations will appear in Episode 1 of “The Flash” Season 4. However, it is still unknown who will play the character.
