“Teen Wolf” Season 6 recently aired the thirteenth episode entitled “After Images.” It can be recalled that the episode was Tyler Posey’s directorial debut. While he was usually considered to be the face of the series, the 25-year-old actor served as the director for the 13th episode.
The results of the episode were reportedly impressive, as “Teen Wolf” fans were surprised to see him grow as an actor-turned-director. During several interviews, the cast proved how Posey became a leader not only as Scott McCall but also for the rest of the cast. Every time people ask Jeff Davis, Dylan O’Brien, Holland Roden, Linden Ashby, or Shelley Hennig, they all have nothing to say but good things about the series.
The growth of Tyler Posey’s career
“Teen Wolf” was not the first project of Tyler Posey. He was no stranger in acting when he first entered the series’ set. However, according to Hypable, Posey mentioned several times how his life was impacted by the series.
He wants a number of things such as music, hosting award shows, creating a podcast and now, Posey tends to directorial duties. Stars do not usually mind staying with one interest. As for Posey, it seems like he found a way to creatively express himself in different ways.
What is the best thing about ‘After Images?’
The thirteenth episode picked up with Scott (Posey), Malia (Shelley Hennig), Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) and Lori (Lily Bleu Andrew).
They were tracking down Brett (Cody Saintgnue), who was wounded in a hunter attack. Brett’s wounds were caused by the Gerard Argent (Michael Hogan) and his female hunter protégé.
Meanwhile, Melissa (Melissa Ponzio) and Chris Argent (JR Bourne) were examining a faceless body at the hospital. Getting a piece of specimen scared both characters and this terrifying experience has reunited them.
Melissa and Chris also addressed their unspoken connection as both parted ways after a kiss in Season 6 winter finale.
Furthermore, there is something noticeably different in “Teen Wolf” Season 6, episode 13. As the earlier source pointed out, the episode feels like a different show. It is safe to say that Posey made some significant choices, letting people know about the feelings he wanted to convey to the viewers.
The episode was written by Angela Harvey and many are hoping there will be more!
“Teen Wolf” Season 6 ended with Brett’s possible death. Liam’s werewolf form was also revealed in public, so let us watch out for that.
#TeenWolf Season 6 is great. I'm honestly surprised how much I am still enjoying each week without Stiles. pic.twitter.com/zrq2EnL9V8
