Fans of “Supernatural” Season 13 were happy to see that Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles have created a brotherhood and solid friendship between each other because of their roles in the said TV series. Ackles even surprised Padalecki during his 35th birthday.
Padalecki celebrates his 35th birthday; Surprised by Jensen Ackles
And what is the best way to celebrate your 35th birthday? By promoting your show with your on-screen brother and give a keg stand a go. That’s what actor, Jared Padalecki, just did while visiting “Conan.”
After being like brothers for more than a decade, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles still live up to their traditions.
While guesting on Conan O’Brien’s show, Jensen prepared a surprise for Jared and turns out, the actor is plugging a keg business, saying “I will preface this by saying that my family and I are opening a craft brewery in Austin at the end of the summer. This is the very first keg, ever kegged, that was driven out from Austin Texas.” while referring to the keg that stands before them (well played!). O’Brien found the plug quite funny and said: “I thought it was a stupid stunt now it’s just a plug.”
And after that, things just escalated humorously. Padalecki, with the help of O’Brien and Ackles, went upside down for a sip and the crowd surely enjoyed the bit.
The last time we heard about the Winchester brothers played by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, it was devastating and it’s written all over Dean’s face.
We lost our dearest angel and demon tandem, Castiel and Crowley. Plus, we might absolutely say goodbye to Mary Winchester. But it is “Supernatural” and it happens all the time.
Jared Padalecki continues to hope something good for Castiel in ‘Supernatural’ Season 13
The deaths and events that took place last season created a huge cliffhanger compared to the previous finales that usually has a Kansas song before it begins.
Good things might still come in “Supernatural” Season 13 though, as Misha Collins will come back. He does not plan to miss the “slightly darker” vibe of the Scooby-doo special the producers have prepared which will come after 15 episodes.
“Supernatural” Season 13 is still expected to pursue the plot that revolved around Lucifer, who was last seen with Mary in a portal (including Bobby!), and his already-grown son.
What’s great about every “Supernatural” episode is, we might never lose interest with its unending list of specials. Remember the Wizard of Oz reference? That worked pretty well. Let us hope the Scooby-doo special will be the same when Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles return. Catch the premiere of "Supernatural" Season 13 on October 12.
