It looks like there will be a lot of changes happening in “Scandal” Season 7’s final bow. Olivia Pope & Associates (OPA) is about to change its name now that Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) gave the rights to handle the company to Quinn Perkins (Katie Lowes).

Olivia now has a new role in the White House. Thus she let Quinn managed OPA. President Mellie Grant's (Bellamy Young) new Chief of Staff is about to unleash what she can do with the new power and influence she has.

Olivia’s power and influence

According to Christian Post, Olivia will be enjoying her new role as President Mellie’s Chief Of Staff in the White House.

She, too, is the taskmaster of B613.

In an interview with TV Guide, Darby Stanchfield, who plays the role of Abby Whelan, revealed that the former communications director would be the woman behind the most powerful lady of the United States.

"I think she's very comfortable being in charge,” the 46-year-old star said. She believes that Olivia is now very satisfied with her new position for having the power to do what she wants. She also sees that she has no intention to slow down.

With that, there are swirling rumors that Olivia will be affected by the influence she now has and might turn dark in the coming new installment. However, Stanchfield has faith that she will remain to be the good woman they know in spite of her new role.

"You know what they say: once a gladiator, always a gladiator," she teased.

A new name for OPA

Now that Olivia has moved to the White House, she let Quinn have her seat in Olivia Pope & Associates.

So, the consulting firm is set to have a new name as a new boss is about to come in. The company will be now called Quinn Perkins & Associates as confirmed by Michael Ausiello on TV Line.

Evidently, Quinn will be now busy managing their legal business as Olivia gave her all the rights to do so.

The show’s ending

Meanwhile, “Scandal” Season 7 will be the final chapter of one of Shonda Rhimes’ powerful television shows.

Aside from “How to Get Away with Murder” and “Grey’s Anatomy,” Kerry Washington’s television series justified the 47-year-old’s status as one of the known writers and producers on television.

Although fans are not yet ready for the ending of the political thriller television series, Rhimes and ABC know that it is the best thing to do while the show still has a lot of viewers than to end it dipping from ratings.

“Scandal” Season 7 will return on Oct. 5 on ABC.
