Despite the reports that Sam Heughan is already taken, fans of the Starz series, "Outlander" Season 3 are still reportedly hoping that Heughan would end up dating his on-screen partner, Caitriona Balfe. Some viewers are apparently sad to see Heughan dating another woman instead of Balfe.

According to a recent report by Celebrity Insider (blog), Sam Heughan and Mackenzie Mauzy were seen together at San Diego Comic Con. The rumored couple even shared photos of them during their most recent outing. Heughan even shared a photo of him with Mauzy at their meeting with a formula one racing group.
It has been a few months ever since dating reports about Heughan and Mauzy went viral on the internet. The outlet even revealed that Mauzy and Heughan have been dating for a few months now and that they are both happy when they are with each other.
Reports claimed that Heughan and Mauzy became a couple back in February. Both of them are satisfied and happy as they spend time together.
Perhaps, Balfe is also happy for her friend, Heughan.
Years have passed ever since dating reports targetted Heughan and Balfe. Perhaps, their undeniable chemistry sparked the dating reports and even relationship rumors. However, both of them denied that they are having a secret relationship. Balfe already denied the dating reports and said that she is just friends with the "Outlander" lead actor.
Yet, this does not stop the fans of the show from hoping that they would end up together in reality.

On the other side of the story, Balfe and Heughan have already finished shooting their scenes for "Outlander" Season 3. Elle.com unveiled that Jamie and Claire will still end up with each other at the end of the season.

Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe star in the hit TV drama "Outlander" Season 3. The show will premiere its new season in September 2017.
