SM Entertainment has finally kicked off Girls’ Generation highly anticipated comeback with the release of their new album and their new music videos. “Holiday” and “All Night” music videos were just unveiled to promote their sixth album.

New music videos unveiled

As promised, SM Entertainment dropped the new music videos and full album on August 4 at exactly 6:00 PM (KST). However, fans were not expecting to get more as the said agency actually uploaded a documentary music video version of “All Night.”

The official and full music video for “Holiday” was released first and each music video has already gained half a million views on SMTOWN's official YouTube channel in just 30 minutes.

Fans are currently waiting for the release of the official version of the “All Night” music video.

The two title tracks may be two different songs but both tracks boast of a retro vibe, giving fans a colorful and shimmering choreography. SM Entertainment has described “Holiday” as a summer anthem that conveys the feelings of each member for reaching their 10th anniversary since their debut as idols.

“All Night,” on the other hand, is as upbeat as the other title track but its lyrics are about falling in love while partying the summer night away. Even after a decade, the girls donned and nailed perky outfits and dance routines, proving once again that age is that a number and talent cannot be easily brushed away.

Aside from their groovy dance choreography, the girls clearly showed their various vocal talents. The two songs boasted an uplifting melody combined with high notes from Kim Taeyeon, Hwang Tiffany, and Seohyun and rap segments spearheaded by the group’s dancing queen, Kim Hyoyeon.

'Holiday Night' album details

Girls’ Generation's sixth and latest full studio album has been titled “Holiday Night” and it consists of ten new tracks, including the aforementioned two title songs.

The other eight songs are “Girls Are Back,” “FAN,” “Only One,” “One Last Time,” “Sweet Talk,” “Love is Bitter,” “It’s You,” and “Light Up The Sky.”

The girl group’s youngest member, Seohyun, participated in the writing of the lyrics for the songs, “Sweet Talk” and “Holiday.” The full physical album will be released on August 7 and the girls will be performing live for their first official comeback stage on August 10 at Mnet’s music program called “M!

COUNTDOWN.”

However, prior to these dates, Girls’ Generation, also fondly known as SNSD, will be holding a special fan meeting event on August 5 in Seoul, South Korea to celebrate their 10th anniversary as an idol group.
