This year Nina Dobrev fans are keen to see her act in the forthcoming Movie 'Flatliners.' Norcal News reported that she opened up and talked about the extreme measures she has gone through to prepare for her role in the movie.

The psychological horror movie is a sequel to the 1990 film. Aside from Dobrev, Ellen Page, Diego Luna, James Norton and Kiefer Sutherland are also acting in it.
While filming, the 28-year-old actress was actually set on fire. But no, she did not burn or anything. She even explained the process of how the clothes she wore were fire proofed and it was just a stunt to make the scene more realistic.
“They call ‘Action,’ they light my arm on fire, I have to act like I’m on fire - which I am - and react to the scariness of it, which wasn’t too hard,” she said.
That experience was repeated around six times just so the cameras could shoot it from different angles and Nina made it safely through the day, according to Norcal News.
A trailer for “Flatliners” was released on YouTube in June and it is understandable why it is receiving so much attention. We are expecting that this will not be the last film for Nina Dobrev after her exit from the CW show. But it will be nostalgic if she plays a fanged role at some point.

“The Vampire Diaries” aired for eight seasons and fans took it badly when Nina Dobrev announced her exit at that time. And even though the show already ended in March, some fans still speculate that it was because of Ian Somerhalder.
Nina Dobrev expressed her feelings about leaving the show stating that it was something that scared her as she could not be guaranteed new roles after the end of “The Vampire Diaries” show.
When she announced her exit two years ago, it was because she wanted to take new roles rather than playing the role of a teenager named Elena Gilbert all the time.
It was reasonable for Dobrev to take such a leap because the actress had taken the role since she was 20 and the need to play another role is what most TV actors usually wish for.
After she left, she started picking out roles that were quite far from what she had previously done and now she is confirmed to be in two films, "Flatliners" and "Departures." She was also in the movie “XXX: Return of Xander Cage” where she portrayed the nerdy-looking tech specialist Becky Clearidge.
Fans are happy knowing that Nina Dobrev has become a very successful movie star following her appearance in "The Vampire Diaries."
