Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are currently holidaying in Africa amidst wild speculations of their engagement. Mike Tindall, the former rugby player who is married to Zara Phillips, Harry’s cousin, has said that the “Suits” actress will not have any problems shifting into the royal family. He believes she can manage the intense scrutiny that members of royal family are subjected to by the media since she has experienced that in her professional life.
Mike Tindall and Zara Phillips to meet Meghan in coming months
This vote of confidence from Mike Tindall is sure to boost up the morale of Meghan Markle.
What is more, Tindall is looking forward to meeting her. He said that he has not met her yet, but it would be nice meeting her. He also revealed that he is a big fan of her TV series “Suits,” and he finds it pretty good. He joked that he would not hesitate from asking her for spoilers.
Both Tindall and his wife Zara are expected to meet Meghan in the coming months, and as fans know, Meghan has already met Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Harry has planned a romantic trip to Africa
Meanwhile, Prince Harry is enjoying his holidays with Meghan Markle in Africa, a place that he calls his second home. He took her on the trip to celebrate her thirty-sixth birthday, and his photographs showing him wrapping his hands around his ladylove have been the talk of the town ever since.
Insiders also claim that the Prince has made elaborate arrangements for the trip, and since Africa happens to be the place where William proposed to Kate, the chances of the younger brother doing the same are quite bright.
Wedding bells at Westminster Abbey
A close friend of Harry has also said that his wedding is very much on the cards, and it could take place in Westminster Abbey despite Meghan Markle being a divorcee.
The Abbey reportedly follows the General Synod Ruling of 2002 that allows divorced individuals to get married in the Church of England. So, all Prince Harry needs is consent of the Queen because he is the fifth in the line to the Throne, and as per the Royal Marriages Act of 1772, the first six in the line have to take the consent of the queen for their marriage.
Though word is still awaited on the front, it is known that the Queen is aware of their relationship, and in fact, she admired Markle for her interest in charity work.
It is worth mentioning here that marriage rumors of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have gained steam ever since the duo attended the wedding reception of Pippa Middleton together.
