The love story of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry continues to be one of the most followed in the world. The romantic sparks between an actress and a real-life princess have attracted a lot of followers as it is likened to a modern real-life fairy tale. Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went public with their relationship, they have been attracting the paparazzi and fans like bees. However, their relationship has also put them in a vulnerable position where they are openly attacked by controversies, unsolicited advice, and comments. Speculations about their engagement and marriage have also been circulating for a couple of months, but up until now, they have not addressed the said rumors.

Recently, Meghan Markle celebrated her 36th birthday, and the public was treated to a fresh batch of photos featuring the couple in a romantic safari getaway. According to Entertainment Tonight, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted enjoying a date in the lush safari of Africa on Friday.

Trying to balance work and love life

It's a known fact that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are already celebrities in their right even before they met each other. Ever since Prince William got married to Kate Middleton, the spotlight seemed to have shone brighter on the youngest son of Princess Diana and Prince William.

Dubbed as one of the most eligible bachelors in the world, the public was excitedly waiting for Prince Harry to find his lady love.

And when news broke out that he was dating the sultry "Suits" actress, Meghan Markle, they instantly became a part of the world's most followed couple.

However, they aren't like normal couples who spend most of their time together. In fact, they are rarely seen together in public because they are both busy with their careers. Prince Harry is jet-setting most of the time to visit different countries and do some philanthropic work while Markle is also busy filming for "Suits."

The proposal

A lot of fans were expecting an explosive proposal or engagement news from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their celebratory birthday trip to Africa.

However, reps for the couple have yet to comment on the issue.

The photos from their romantic safari getaway showed the couple dressed casually and no extravagant proposal set-up was seen in the vicinity. The closest thing that the paparazzi got was a photo of Markle holding something that can be considered as gift wrapped in bubble wrap. Although it's unclear what's inside the gift, it's probably safe to assume that it's not an engagement ring.
