It’s a major concern what fame has done to some of our celebrities. The world has watched the feud between Kanye West and Taylor Swift for years now. Of course, as expected, Kim Kardashian stands on her husband’s side. There is a surprise though - Kim K was once a Swiftie, as Talyor Swift’s fans identify themselves. Eight years ago, the 36-year-old reality star revealed that her favorite song on her iPod was Swift’s hit, “Love Story.” According to US Weekly, at the time she said she was Taylor's biggest fan and was following her on Twitter.

Kanye West and Taylor Swift first disagreed in 2009

In 2009, Kim and Kanye were not dating, and therefore Kim and Swift had no reason to be rivals. But people can never forget the first incident where the feud between Kanye and Taylor probably began. During Taylor’s 2009 VMAs acceptance speech, Kanye grabbed the mic from her and said Beyonce deserved the award. After Kim got married to Kanye, his past became part of her life, and she would live with it. In fact, after years of bitter exchanges, Taylor and Kanye met at 2015 Grammy Awards where they were seen chatting and even took photos, that included Kim. Soon, you could see Taylor and Kim dancing together as best friends in the front row at award shows.

Their fans were even more convinced that the feud was over after seeing Taylor Swift present Kanye with his Video Vanguard Award at the 2015 VMA’s.

Kim Kardashian released footage showing the conversation between Kanye and Swift

After Kanye released his song “Famous” in February 2016, which had lyrics allegedly talking ill of Swift, their relationship turned sour again.

Since then, the Kardashian and Swift bad blood has been making headlines, the most recent being Kim releasing footage of Taylor and Kanye’s phone call discussing the “Famous” lyrics. Taylor hit back through her new single, “Look What You Made Me Do.” Kanye still insisted he had permission from Taylor to use the lyrics. After the track was released, Swift rubbished it as misogynistic.

The mother of two released the footage after getting tired of witnessing her husband being dragged through the mud because of the lyrics. 27-year-old Taylor implied that it was edited, but after releasing her song, it seemed she had scored big against the Wests.

According to the HollywoodLife.com, the makeup mogul said that Swift's video was immature, petty and classless. She claimed the video had unfortunate timing as all the attention was on the Texas flooding and neo-Nazis marching in the streets. Taylor also mocked Kim over her Paris robbery through the “LWYMMD” video where Taylor was bathing in a tub full of diamonds as she sang about someone’s “perfect crime” and that made Kim super furious. Wests’ fans, Swifties and the rest of the world are watching to see how this goes.
