For "Fortnite Battle Royale" fans, a new update is now available. The creators of the game, Epic Games, have introduced a new update which makes a few changes to the "Battle Royale" and "Save The World" game modes. Moreover, the update also comes with new Xbox-exclusive heroes. The new patch fully covers people who play "Fortnite Battle Royale" from their PCs, PS4s or Xbox One. Some of the noticeable changes are tweaks for aim assistance, performance improvements, and bug fixes.

A player has to meet some requirements

According to Comic Book, for a "Fortnite" player to get the new "Save the World" heroes exclusive in the Xbox One, he/she must meet some requirements for him/her to access the new characters.

If by chance you had already bought a Founders Pack previously, then go ahead and complete the Loot Llamas quest and you will have the new characters. The new characters include.

  • Soldier: Commando Renegade
  • Ninja: Jade Assassin Sarah
  • Outlander: Trailblazer Jess
  • Constructor: Guardian Knox

Controller and mouse players are not left out

The developers also said they will reveal a new game mode. Currently, "Fortnite" is one of the best multiplayer games, and the new mode is meant to make "Fortnite" even better. According to Express, Epic Games have also introduced an iteration of the inventory screen to the game for the second time. It will help both controller and mouse players have a better experience when playing the game.

Also, the update includes a few aim assists and weapon changes as well as some tons of audio and visual improvements.

  • Chances of getting Bandages from Treasure Chests are decreased, and Supply is reduced by 35%.
  • Aim assist and controllers are reduced and its easier to lead targets with Sniper Rifles and iterate faster easily through the aim assist system.

  • Sniper Rifles don’t reload anymore from scoped view.
  • Tracers have been removed from the silenced SMG.

Performance

  • The number of redundant movement events that are sent from clients has been reduced to improve server performance.
  • General framerate has been improved for multiple nearby characters.
  • Reduction of CPU stalls to improve Xbox One rendering.
  • Lighting and shadows rendering has been improved.
  • More game logic BPs has been converted to C++ to enhance game thread performance.
  • Smoother performance when and sound from clutter objects and rendering bushes.
  • Improved UI and PhysX performance.
  • Animation trail effects and particles have been improved.
  • Players/weapons articles and safe zone indicator have been optimized.
  • Network bandwidth during a squad match and general hitching has been reduced.
  • Some fixtures in server performance and various hitches.

Other changes that have been made are some audio fixtures and UI improvements.
