Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin remain at odds in terms of the custody over their sextuplets and twins. Days ago, the two had another verbal domestic dispute over one of their daughters.
According to E! News, Jon was the one who called the cops on Kate at the ROG Orthodontics located in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Authorities in the area told the publication that the child involved in the dispute is one of the sextuplets. Accordingly, they were arguing as to who between Jon And Kate will she go home with. Kate was later removed from the building and the child went with Jon because she requested to stay with her father.
The daughter was identified as Hannah, who was also the subject of the 2015 custody case filed by Jon. Jon claimed during that time that his daughter Hannah is not comfortable living with her mother Kate.
In the latest incident, Kate allegedly tried to pull Hannah out of her estranged husband’s vehicle but the 13-year-old resisted in a violent manner. Hannah was reportedly treated at a hospital for an arm injury but the extent of her injuries was not revealed. It also remains unknown who caused the injuries and what the details were regarding the verbal argument between the ex couple.
Kate was investigated by the Child Protective Services over the reports of child abuse.
She said in a statement last November that although she was being investigated at that time and in the past, the allegations were “always unfounded.”
Jon’s lawyer releases statement
The lawyer of Jon, Kristen Doleva-Lecher, further confirmed that Kate and her client have had a verbal dispute at a parking lot of the aforementioned building.
Doleva-Lecher said that co-parenting should be what Jon and Kate are doing for their kids but that is not happening yet. She did not say why the two started arguing over who would take their daughter home but Doleva-Lecher noted that her client will fight until the end for the kids.
Background on the former couple’s relationship
The two have been on reality shows in the past before they decided to separate in 2009, Aol.com shared. They have eight kids together. Two of them are 16-year-old twins named Cara and Madelyn and their 13-year-old sextuplets, identified as Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel, and Leah.
Per the latest report over their custody agreement, Jon is only allowed to see four of their eight kids. They are allowed to have dinners with their father at a weekly period and have overnights at his home every other weekend.
