Derick and Jill Dillard are asking for money once again from the fans. Everyone kind of thought that since they were done doing mission work outside of the United States this would stop, but that isn't the case at all. Jill Duggar Dillard now has a link to where Derick is trying to raise money for a program at his home church called Cross Church School of Ministry.

What is Derick doing now?

Derick will be working for his home church doing a program called Cross Church School of Ministry. He is hoping that he can get everyone else as excited about this as he is and wants them to help him out by sending money for the program.

Jill and Derick do have an income from their reality show, but they haven't been doing any regular jobs to bring in income for a while. Derick did work at Wal-Mart a long time ago, but since he quit that job he hasn't started a traditional job again. Fans have wondered how they are able to afford two kids, but somehow the Dillard family makes it work.

Derick Dillard went on to explain that this is very important to him and that all donations are important. It sounds like he won't be able to do it if people aren't giving him money to help support him. Derick is trying hard to get help from the fans of "Counting On."

What does Derick want from fans?

Derick Dillard started a fundraiser on the site called Pure Charity.

This site is kind of like GoFundMe, but for charities. Derick is trying to raise $6,500 for his new program. He is really hoping that the fans will help pay for this by sending him money. He has asked for money in the past for mission trips that they were doing to take.

It sounds like Derick also has big plans to leave the United States again.

On his page, he says he is wanting money for "trips for Gospel-advancement and humanitarian work in Northwest Arkansas, North America, and abroad." He has signed up to do this ministry for one year, but you never know what will happen after that. Derick could decide to stay with this for a while. It is unknown how involved Jill will be in this new venture, but it will be interesting to see if she ends up leaving the country with him and taking the kids along with them.

Are you surprised to hear that Derick and Jill Dillard are asking for money once again? Do you feel like they shouldn't be asking for money from fans?
