SM Entertainment has released the final set of teasers for their top idol girl group’s highly anticipated comeback. Girls’ Generation concluded their teaser promotions with the reveal of teasers from member Sunny and the audio teaser clip for their new album.
‘Holiday Night’ album out tomorrow
SM Entertainment revealed the final teaser for what is considered the biggest comeback of the year and the decade. The music video teaser for one of the girl group’s title tracks, “Holiday,” has just been released and it shows all eight members clad in colorful outfits as they sing and dance their heart out in a place that parodies Hollywood.
The girls’ entertainment company revealed that the youngest member of the girl group, Seohyun participated in the making of the lyrics for “Holiday” and “Sweet Talk.” Dubbed as the perfect summer anthem, the song will convey the members’ feelings as the group celebrates their 10th anniversary since their debut as an idol girl group.
Girls’ Generation, otherwise referred to as SNSD, will be releasing the full and digital version of their new and sixth studio album, “Holiday Night” on August 4 at 6:00 PM (KST). The respective music videos for their main songs, “Holiday” and “All Night” are expected to be released along with the official release of the album’s digital version.
The physical album will be released on August 7.
The album will consist of 10 new tracks, including two title tracks as mentioned above.
Final member teasers
The promotional teasers for Girls’ Generation’s highly awaited comeback kicked off with Im Yoona’s set of teasers. The teasers all featured old footage of the members, back in their trainee days and when they just started out as rookie idols in South Korea’s male-dominated music and entertainment industry.
The solo teasers ended with Sunny’s set, which was released on the midnight of August 3. Before her comeback teasers were released, group leader Kim Taeyeon’s set was released.
Group’s promotional schedule
Each teaser of the members was coupled with important details on what the girls are up to as soon as they kick off their official comeback.
The veteran girl group will be holding a 10th anniversary fan meeting on August 5 and they will perform their new songs for the first time in that event.
The girls are set to broadcast a live comeback special called “Girls’ Generation’s LieV” on Naver’s V Live on August 7. They will perform their first official comeback stage on Mnet’s music program, “M! Countdown” on August 10.
