'Game of Thrones' Season 7 Episodes 4 'Spoils Of War' is finally out and there is a lot to talk about. It ends a tumultuous week especially after the episode was leaked before the official airing date. For those who have patiently waited until Sunday, the visual feast had a special taste. The land of Westeros is fully emerging into a war scenario having the Iron Throne in sight. On the other side, Jon Snow, the freshly proclaimed King of the North is working on his alliance with Daenerys Targaryen who may prevent the Realm from being invaded by the White Walkers and the army of the dead.

Somewhere in the background, Cersei Lannister keeps working on her alliance with the Iron Bank of Braavos.

Daenerys and Jon Snow still debating their status as allies.

Dragonstone is where Jon Snow is currently working to obtain the mining rights for the Dragonglass who would help him to fight against the White Walkers. In the meantime, Daenerys is pushing harder to force him to bend the knee as a condition of their alliance. We don't know yet how their discussion from that cave ended as the action quickly moved outside to witness the tense reunion of Jon Snow with Theon Greyjoy.

Daenerys and Jon Snow seems to have a central part of this season. Their relationship and especially the way of how their fragile pact will evolve may influence the destiny of the entire Westeros.

Jon Snow is facing a big dilemma: if he bends the knee, we will lose the respect of his own peers from the North. On the other side, as Daenerys has pointed out, if he won't put his pride aside, the North will have no chance against the invaders from the beyond the wall.

Daenerys uses one dragon to annihilate Jaime Lannister, Winterfell has a reunion

The title of this episodes resumes in a few words how pricey the gold is. Taking all the precious metal out of the Highdarden, Jaime Lannister's army went on being destroyed by combined forces; the Dothraki Hoard is under Daenerys' command. As the last Targaryen is riding a dragon leading the assault, Jaime pays the price of his endeavor.

Moving up in the North, the action follows the House Stark's reunion having Sansa, Arya and Bran Stark at its center. It's a totally different picture compared to that of the opening season when they were simply children. Their evolution is spectacular, and despite all the troubles they went through, the House Stark has some strong offshoots, perhaps the strongest of the entire Realm. Let's not forget Jon Snow who despite his name, at his core is also a Stark.
