Rumors are running wild that actress Jen Lilley will be headed back to "DOOL" this fall. While nothing has been confirmed, the NBC soap has revealed that there is at least one character return that has not been announced yet, and fans are hoping it is Theresa!

As many "Days Of Our Lives" fans know, Theresa Donovan left Salem to protect her boyfriend Brady Black and their son, Tate.
Theresa's past came back to haunt her when she got mixed up with a former drug dealer she used to know. So, her father, ISA agent, Shane Donovan, devised a plan so that Theresa could help bust the drug dealer and keep Brady and Tate safe. Unfortunately, the plan meant that Theresa had to lie to Brady and reveal that she didn't want to be his wife, or Tate's mother any longer. She left Salem in tears, leaving Brady stunned by what had happened.
Brady's moved on with Nicole, but that relationship will soon be coming to an end when Arianne Zucker exits the soap
Brady has moved on now with Nicole Walker, but it looks like that relationship is about to south. Not only has Brady been annoying Nicole with his jealousy, but spoilers reveal he'll also make a shocking mistake when it comes to custody of Nicole's baby daughter Holly.
Since "Days of our Lives" fans know that actress Arianne Zucker is leaving "Days of our Lives" it makes sense to bring Theresa Donovan back now to get Brady's life back on track. Further evidence of a Theresa return is that of her sister, Eve Donovan, who is returning to Salem this fall as well. There could be a connection between Eve's arrival back in Salem and the return of Theresa, but the soap has revealed nothing.

Recently, actor Eric Martsolf, who plays Brady Black on "Days of our Lives," begged Jen Lilley to return as Theresa Donovan, saying that no one else could play the role. Lilley later replied that she would come back for Martsolf, and sent "DOOL" fans into a frenzy over the possible return of Theresa, and the reunion of the fan favorite couple.
Fans are sure to be keeping an eye out for any news or evidence that Jen is returning to set, and it appears that the questions will be answered this fall. Set your DVRs, because big things are coming to Salem!
