"Days Of Our Lives" fans have been hearing spoilers and rumors that fan favorite character EJ DiMera may be returning to Salem in the near future. Now, even more fuel has been added to the fire thanks to soap star Natalia Livingston, who "DOOL" fans will remember as playing the role of Nicole's sister, Taylor Walker, before Ava Braun took over the role.
Natalia Livingston wants Tyler Christoper to play EJ DiMera on 'DOOL'
Livingston took to her Twitter account last week to congratulate her former "General Hospital" co-star Tyler Christopher on being cast on "Days of our Lives" and revealed that she believed he would make an "amazing" EJ recast.
"Ty as Ej Dimera?
Now that would be amazing," she wrote, adding the hashtag #TaylorWalker. As many "DOOL" fans will remember, Taylor Walker and EJ DiMera were hot and heavy for awhile before he married Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). If Tyler has been hired by the NBC soap opera to take over the role from James Scott, could fans also see Taylor return to Salem as well?
Will Tyler play Nikki Alamin?
While "Days of our Lives" viewers seem to be torn on the possibility of an EJ DiMera recast, others believe that Tyler Christopher could possibly be playing the role of Nikki or Alexander Alamain, especially since it has been confirmed that actress Louis Sorel will be returning as Vivian Alamain.
Nikki was last seen in Salem in 2011 before leaving town to live in Europe with his mother, Carly Manning, and his newly discovered half-sister, Melanie Jonas.
However, he could return with Vivian, who has been like a mother to him for many years.
'General Hospital' stars to reunite in Salem?
Meanwhile, some "Days of our Lives" fans think that if Tyler Christopher has been cast as EJ DiMera then he could be a very different version of the character. The soap could be planning to bring EJ back in a very different way, especially since he would seemingly be coming back from the dead.
Perhaps he'll be a changed man, and go back to his villainous roots. He could be the next Stefano DiMera, and cause problems for the people of Salem. If EJ returns, it seems "DOOL" could bring Natalia Livingston back as Taylor Walker to be his love interest. The actors played fan favorite couple Emily Quartermaine and Nikolas Cassadine on "General Hospital," and fans may enjoy seeing them back together in new roles on "Days."
