"Dancing with the Stars" is returning to ABC on Monday, September 18, 2017. Before Season 25 starts, viewers want to know which pros are returning and who will be among the Celebrities on the popular reality dance competition show. The pros will be announced on "Good Morning America" on Thursday, August 24. However, the celebrities won't be revealed until Wednesday, September 6, which is closer to the premiere date.
Twins are competing
So far, twins have been confirmed to join the cast of "Dancing With The Stars." However, they are not twins to each other.
One of the "Property Brothers" twins, Drew Scott, will be a contestant, but not his identical twin brother, Jonathan Scott. Drew is four minutes younger than his identical twin. Their parents didn't know they were having twins until the boys were born.
The Canadian brothers are stars on their hit HGTV series. The 39-year-old twins have worked together since 2011. Drew is the real estate expert and Jonathan is a licensed contractor. Together, they help people turn old houses into their dream homes.
WWE wrestler Nikki Bella signed up to compete. However, her twin sister, who is also a WWE Diva Champion, Brie Bella, is not joining the cast. The 33-year-old professional wrestlers are stars on E!'s "Total Divas." Nikki is 16 minutes older than her sister.
Scott and Bella have something else in common. They are both engaged, but not to each other. Scott became engaged to his longtime girlfriend Linda Phan at the end of last year. Bella became engaged to pro wrestler and actor John Cena last April after dating for five years.
Besides Scott and Bella, no other stars have been confirmed yet, but fans don't have to wait long to find out who they will be if they tune in to see "Good Morning America" on September 6.
Engagements
When Season 24 ended, there were seven engaged professionals on the show. Host Erin Andrews, 39, married professional hockey player Jarret Stoll on June 24, 2017. Judge Julianne Hough, 29, married NHL hockey player Brooks Laich on July 8, 2017. Pro dancers Peta Murgatroyd, 31, and Maksim Chmerkovskiy 37, also got married on that same date.
Four people from "Dancing with the Stars" got married over the summer, and there are still three engaged professionals left. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba has been engaged to actor Robb Derringer since December 14, 2016. Pro dancer Sasha Farber has been engaged since he proposed to Emma Slater on the show on October 4, 2016.
Now that two more engaged contestants have signed up, there will be five engaged people. It would be really interesting if newly engaged Rachel Lindsay or Bryan Abasolo from "The Bachelorette" would also become contestants.
