It looks like a lot of twists and turns of events are about to happen in the comingCriminal MindsSeason 13. As its previous season was quite different to its predecessors, everyone’s future remains uncertain.

Someone is set to come back in the return of the long-running police procedural crime drama and he is about to bring nightmares to life once again. But before that, the BAU might finally catch their escaped prisoner.

Finally catching Mr. Scratch

BAU might finally catch Mr. Scratch in the coming “Criminal Minds” Season 13. Also known as Peter Lewis (Bodhi Elfman), he has been at large since the prison break in the show’s 11th season finale.

He, too, has been taking vengeance against the BAU. He was targeting their families and designing a trap in the previous chapter’s final episode. This ended up with a “multiple SUV pile-ups.” To recall, in an interview with TV Guide, executive producer Erica Messer said in May that she is not yet sure if she wants Scratch to be finally caught in the upcoming installment.

Three months later, it looks like she now knows what she wants to happen to the 48-year-old actor’s character. "I think we're gonna get our hands on Mr. Scratch, maybe" Adam Rodriguez, who plays the role of Luke Alvez, teased at the recent CBS' Television Critics Association summer press tour party. Paget Brewster, who portrays Emily Prentiss, on the other hand, hinted that Rodriguez’s comment will be “a great pun” that fans are about to see in a few months.

The return of the cannibalistic serial killer

Additionally, another familiar face is about to be seen in the return of “Criminal Minds” Season 13. Jamie Kennedy is set to be back to reprise his role as the cannibalistic Serial Killer Floyd Feylinn Ferell.

Erica Messer revealed to TV Line that the 47-year-old star’s character will be seen in the show’s sixth episode after his last appearance in the third chapter.

However, it is not yet revealed how his storyline will be opened up once again after being away for a decade. But, the showrunner teased that his return will play a major role in other characters’ stories and sentiments.

“It's going to be so much fun,” she said. Floyd Feylinn Ferell’s return could bring a lot of memories back to the BAU.

The terror people experienced with him could also come to life once again. The most affected of them all might be Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), who is going to remember everything that happened to her.
