“Bachelor in Paradise” Season 4 is all set to premiere next Monday and it has a lot of exciting drama in store for fans. The sexual assault controversy that had suspended the production of the reality show two months back is over. The couple involved in the controversy- DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios is also returning to the show and fans can look forward to a wedding, some interesting costume and a possible couple in the upcoming season.
DeMario Jackson-Corinne Olympios controversy acted as wakeup call for producers
As fans are aware the shooting of “Bachelor in Paradise” came to an abrupt end in June after contestant Corinne Olympios made an allegation against DeMario Jackson.
She alleged that he had sexually assaulted her and he denied the allegations. On the other hand, the producers filed a complaint of inappropriate activity that took place under the influence of alcohol. All of it led to Warner Bros. initiating an investigation into the case and the company made it clear that the shooting for the fourth season would resume only after the matter is resolved.
Well, “Bachelor in Paradise” is ready to premiere with Season 4 as the investigation found that there was no evidence of misconduct. However, ABC president Channing Dungey has said that the dispute did serve as a wakeup call. She stated that it brought forth some safety issues that they would take care of in future.
What is more, the controversial couple in question is seen in the promo of the upcoming season and they are having a great time in each other’s company in a pool.
Season 4 brings interesting surprises
The fourth season of the show might have been affected by a scandal but there is some good deal of fun that fans can look forward to in the coming episodes.
The second episode of the season would see a wedding on the beach. Couple Evan Bass and Carly Waddell would be seen exchanging wedding vows in front of host Chris Harrison and both are sure to set the hearts of their fans aflutter with the lovely ceremony. The icing on the cake is that the pair recently announced that they are expecting and will become parents in February.
There will also be some fun costume sequences as is indicated by some photos that were released recently. The teasers hint at Santa Clause, a penguin and a shark costume. The contestants are ready to floor their suitors with dramatic introductions, something on the lines of the original show. Also, there is a possible couple coming in the form of Robby Hayes and Amanda Stanton.
