"Bachelor in Paradise" 2017 is finally here. Season 4 is set to be the most dramatic season of the summer "Bachelor" spin-off yet, and fans can't wait to see it all go down. However, this season things will be a bit different, and some new rules will be in place mostly thanks to the sex scandal involving Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson.

Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson's controversy will take center stage

According to Life and Style magazine, Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson made headlines when their steamy hookup shut down production on "Bachelor in Paradise" season 4.

After the couple had a drunken sexual encounter in the swimming pool, production was halted, the cast was sent home, and an official investigation was opened to find out whether or not there was any sexual misconduct during the encounter.

Later, Corinne revealed that she was a victim and was too drunk to consent to any sexual contact with DeMario. However, Jackson sang a very different tune, saying Olympios was lucid and fully engaged during their hookup.

The "Bachelor in Paradise" investigation found that no misconduct had taken place, and the cast quickly flew back to Mexico to resume filming the show. However, both Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson refused to return to finish filming the summer series.

However, the show will address the controversy right off the bat and even shows footage from Corinne and DeMario's hookup.

Does anyone get engaged during 'Bachelor in Paradise' 2017?

As for how the rest of "Bachelor in Paradise" season 4 plays out, it looks like it will be an interesting season. Last season, fans watched three couples get engaged, including Amanda Stanton and Josh Murray.

However, spoilers reveal that not one couple will walk away from the season engaged this time around, although Stanton, returning after her split with Murray, may have found love with Robby Hayes.

This year, viewers will see host Chris Harrison offer the couples a different option at the end of the season. They can go home together, go home separately, or opt for an overnight fantasy suite-like date.

Spoilers reveal that three couples chose to have fantasy suite dates, but no one will be getting a proposal during season 4.

Other "Bachelor in Paradise" 2017 spoilers reveal that a love triangle is in store for Dean Unglert, Kristina Schulman, and Danielle Lombard, while Nick Viall's runner-up, Raven Gates, will pursue a romance with Robby Hayes and Ben Zorn. However, Raven and Adam, from Rachel Lindsay's season hit it off and are reportedly still dating. Season 4 returns to ABC on Monday night at 8 p.m.
