Recently, the whole cast of the show was present at the San Diego Comic Con 2017 to talk about what the upcoming episodes have in store. While "Riverdale" season 2 spoilers were aplenty, fans were also buzzing about the stars playing Jughead and Betty.
Reports have confirmed that the Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart dating rumors, saying the two stars have found love on set. And it was evident at SDCC 2017.

'Riverdale' season 2 release date, cast, and spoilers
Aside from Cole and Lili dating, there have been a ton of updates about the upcoming season of The CW hit series. First stop, "Riverdale" season 2 release date is set for October 11 at 8 pm. That means they're moving to a new time slot -- from Thursday 9 pm. The premiere is entitled "A Kiss Before Dying" and may hint at what happens after the events of the season 1 finale.
(SPOILERS AHEAD!) In the last episode, Archie's dad, Fred Andrews, was shot by an unknown thug. It was the ultimate cliffhanger and questions may finally be answered in "Riverdale" season 2 episode 1.
As for the "Riverdale" cast, during the TV Line interview, the stars confirmed that there will be new characters joining season 2.
