Hanke denied reports that indicated that more than 80% of players had uninstalled the app. "Its been an incredible few weeks for Pokémon; we have been recognized as the best mobile video game by the British Academy of Film and Television. According to Niantic's developers, the company wants to bring back players that left because of bugs in the latest updates, especially those who think the game stayed the same and did not offer new experiences.
